| dc.description | RESUMEN: Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo explorar, describir y explicar la distribución actual de las fórmulas de tratamiento pronominales de los bogotanos. Para ello se llevó a cabo un estudio de carácter mixto el cual obtuvo sus datos a partir de 376 cuestionarios válidos que fueron respondidos por personas nacidas en Bogotá. El cuestionario preguntaba por los tratamientos dados y esperados con ciertos interlocutores organizados en tres contextos: privado, institucional, y público. Al final del mismo, los informantes respondieron una pregunta acerca de cada pronombre con lo cual buscamos conocer sus percepciones sobre estas formas de tratamiento. Los resultados cuantitativos dan cuenta de un sistema pronominal que consiste en tres tratamientos: tú, usted y sumercé. Esto fue respaldado por los datos cualitativos que también confirman que el vos no hace parte del sistema y se considera un tratamiento de otras regiones. El estudio confirma el cambio en curso hacia un sistema más solidario en donde el tú gana terreno a costas del usted. De igual manera se encontró que sumercé sigue siendo usado y goza de una estabilidad que parece estarse ampliando en su uso. Por ello, consideramos que a futuro el sistema pronominal bogotano estará organizado con el tú como tratamiento solidario, el sumercé como tratamiento intermedio y el usted como tratamiento de distancia. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: This mixed study aimed at exploring, describing, and explaining the current distribution of forms of address among people from Bogotá. The data was obtained from 376 surveys answered by people who were born and lived in Bogotá. The questionnaire asked participants about the treatment given and expected when interacting with certain interlocutors, who were organized in three contexts: private, institutional, and public. In the last section of the survey, participants answered one question per pronoun, which provided us with their perception about them. The quantitative results let us understand that the pronominal system consist of three forms: tú, usted and sumercé. This was also supported by the qualitative results, which also show that vos does not belong in this system and is considered as a form from other regions. The research supports the claim of a change in progress towards a more solidary system in which tú gains ground over usted. In the same line, the study shows that sumercé is still under use and has solid balance which seems to be growing. Therefore, we consider that the future of the pronominal system in Bogotá will be organized with tú as the solidary form, sumercé as an intermediate one, and usted as the distance form to use. | |
