| dc.description | Las cuarentenas establecidas debido al Covid-19 han demostrado que las soluciones de legaltech son necesarias para mantener la continuidad del negocio legal en cualquier momento y lugar. Previo a la crisis sanitaria y de salud que experimentamos a nivel mundial, el sector legal ya estaba atravesando una transformación a raíz de las demandas económicas, demográficas, tecnológicas y competitivas. Estas demandas seguirán ejerciendo cambios a la industria legal, pero con su impacto ahora amplificado a causa de la pandemia. (Kluwer,2020)
En Latinoamérica, donde la industria jurídica era naturalmente conservadora , ahora se está transformando más rápido que en los últimos 50 años, a través de las Legaltechs, empresas que aplican la tecnología a la prestación o comercialización de servicios legales. (Cortés,2019). El surgimiento de nuevas compañías que establecen su propuesta de valor en el uso de la tecnología para atender la necesidad legal está transformando la forma como funcionan los estudios de abogados, las áreas legales de las empresas e incluso la práctica independiente del derecho. Ni la tecnología ni las startups legaltech eliminarán a los abogados, pero sí cambiarán la forma en que se practica el derecho, haciendo posible mayor velocidad y eficiencia derivadas del uso de la tecnología y el enfoque de los abogados en actividades de mayor complejidad y especialización | |
| dc.description | The quarantines established due to Covid-19 have shown that legaltech solutions are necessary to maintain the continuity of the legal business at any time and place. Prior to the health and health crisis that we experienced worldwide, the legal sector was already undergoing a transformation due to economic, demographic, technological and competitive demands.These demands will continue to exert changes to the legal industry, but with its impact now amplified by the pandemic (Kluwer, 2020).

The emergence of new companies that establish their value proposition in the use of technology to meet legal needs is transforming the way law firms, the legal areas of companies and even the independent practice of law work. Neither technology nor legaltech startups will eliminate lawyers, but they will change the way law is practiced, making possible greater speed and efficiency derived from the use of technology and the focus of lawyers on activities of greater complexity and specialization. | |
