| dc.description | En esta investigación se hizo un análisis del proceso de Slitter como parte de las operaciones de Rama en la empresa ELCATEX, la cual se encarga de la elaboración de tela y prendas de tejido tubular y abierto para confeccionar camisetas, ropa interior, sudaderas y otros. Actualmente, Elcatex cuenta con diversos departamentos con implementaciones de estándares operacionales que no solo les han permitido una mejora significativa en sus procesos, sino también un incremento en la productividad y una reducción de costos de un 25%, como foulard, secado, afelpado y compactado; sin embargo, existen departamentos como Rama en los que aún no se ha realizado la implementación de estos, por lo que no se tiene un control de sus procesos. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo la realización de un análisis de los diferentes elementos de trabajo de Slitter para identificar tanto las oportunidades de mejora que hagan más eficiente el proceso, como la evaluación de dichas actividades en función de la medición de las mismas para definir los estándares a utilizarse, logrando así un incremento del 39.80% en la eficiencia real del proceso, incrementando así el número de libras producidas por turno e impactando en el costo por libra en un 27.25% de la reducción de costo por libra. A través de la revisión detallada de las actividades de los elementos de trabajo del proceso, se identificó un 25% del tiempo total por turno abarcado por las demoras del proceso, señaladas por la falta de límites en los tiempos de elaboración de las actividades, sin un porcentaje de cumplimiento que impactara en el beneficio del operador, por lo que, además del incremento en la eficiencia operacional, los estándares involucran una participación activa de los operadores para el cumplimiento de las metas para el bono de incentivo por producción. | |
| dc.description | In this research, an analysis of the Slitter process was carried out as part of the operations of Rama in the company ELCATEX, which is in charge of the elaboration of fabric and garments of tubular and open fabric to make T-shirts, underwear, sweatshirts and others. Currently, Elcatex has several departments with implementations of operational standards that have not only allowed them a significant improvement in their processes, but also an increase in productivity and a cost reduction of 25%, such as foulard, drying, terry and compaction. ; However, there are departments such as Rama in which the implementation of these has not yet been carried out, so there is no control over their processes.
