dc.descriptionEl propósito de la presente investigación, fue realizar un estudio acerca del Síndrome del Cuidador Cansado, con el objetivo de establecer la frecuencia de Síndrome del Cuidador y Factores Asociados en cuidadores de pacientes adultos con discapacidad que asisten al Hospital General San Felipe y Centro de Rehabilitación Integral “Teletón- Tegucigalpa” I Trimestre 2020. Se realizó un estudio analítico descriptivo, buscando describir y cuantificar la frecuencia de dicho síndrome. La población que se tomó como objeto de estudio fue 900 personas que hacen el papel de cuidadores de pacientes para ambas instituciones, con una muestra conformada por 269 personas. Sin embargo, en vista de la emergencia sanitaria mundial por la Pandemia del COVID-, el levantamiento real de datos fue 191 encuestas, ya que en el país se decretó cuarentena, imposibilitando el levantamiento total de la muestra anteriormente calculada. Los resultados más relevantes de nuestra investigación fue que se determinó que la frecuencia del síndrome del cuidador cansado fue de 47.6% en el centro de rehabilitación integral teletón y el 22.5% en el hospital general San Felipe.
dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research was to carry out a study on Caregiver burnout Syndrome, with the objective of establishing the frequency of Caregiver Syndrome and Associated Factors in caregivers of adult patients with disabilities who attend the General Hospital San Felipe and Rehabilitation Center Comprehensive Telethon- Tegucigalpa I Quarter 2020. A quantitative methodological study was carried out, using the descriptive analytical method, seeking to describe and quantify the frequency of said syndrome. The population that was taken as the object of study was 900 people who play the role of caregivers of patients for both institutions, with a sample of 269 people. However, in view of the worldwide health emergency due to the COVID Pandemic, the actual data collection was 191 surveys, since quarantine was decreed in the country, making it impossible to complete the sample previously calculated. The most relevant results of our research were that the frequency of the caregiver burnout syndrome was determined to be 47.6% in the Teletón comprehensive rehabilitation center and 22.5% in the San Felipe general hospital.
