| dc.description | La Fundación Eléutera es un centro de pensamiento que se encarga de investigar sobre varias temáticas diferentes e importantes en el contexto actual del país. Entre las temáticas que Eléutera se encarga, las que más destacan son su enfoque en la migración y también en educación. Adquieren el concepto de think tank, que tiene el propósito principal de no solamente investigar sobre un tema, sino que buscan proveer soluciones y generar ideas para un cambio en las políticas públicas. Es por eso que deciden crear Fundación Eléutera en el 2013, enfocándose en primera instancia en temas de economía y libertades civiles. Mediante a la presentación de informes y artículos dan a conocer los datos obtenidos sobre sus temas principales, además pertenecen a varias redes internacionales de centros de pensamiento como lo es Atlas Network.
Las responsabilidades obtenidas durante esta práctica profesional fueron directamente en el puesto asignado, siendo el siguiente: Asistente de Investigación. El área de investigación, análisis y redacción funciona mediante voluntarios, pero también con personas designadas en el área. Durante la práctica profesional se asignó un trabajo principal, un paper sobre la migración y todos en el área estaban encargados de investigar y redactar sobre los puntos del paper. Además de eso, el trabajo principal asignado es MigraNEWS, donde se realiza un radar de noticias sobre migración para ser publicado en la página principal de la Fundación en su Observatorio de las Migraciones. En conjunto a estas actividades, se apoya con otro de los temas principales de la Fundación, como ser la educación y la promoción de la Fundación en visibilizar la situación actual de los centros educativos en Honduras. Para obtener datos más reales sobre cada uno de estos temas, la Fundación realiza investigaciones de campo pequeñas tomando en cuenta la situación actual de pandemia, haciendo una recientemente el 30 de julio sobre una posible caravana migrante. | |
| dc.description | The Eléutera Foundation is a think tank that is responsible for researching various different and important topics in the current context of the country. Among the issues that Eléutera deals with, the ones that stand out the most are its focus on migration and also on education. They acquire the concept of think tank, which has the main purpose of not only researching a topic, but also seeking to provide solutions and generate ideas for a change in public policies. That is why they decided to create Fundación Eléutera in 2013, focusing in the first instance on issues of economy and civil liberties. Through the presentation of reports and articles, they make known the data obtained on their main topics, and they also belong to several international networks of think tanks such as the Atlas Network.
The responsibilities obtained during this professional practice were directly in the assigned position, being the following: Research Assistant. The research, analysis and writing area works through volunteers, but also with designated people in the area. During the professional practice, a main work was assigned, a paper on migration and everyone in the area was in charge of researching and writing about the points of the paper. In addition to that, the main work assigned is MigraNEWS, where a news radar on migration is carried out to be published on the main page of the Foundation in its Migration Observatory. Together with these activities, it is supported by another of the main themes of the Foundation, such as education and the promotion of the Foundation in making visible the current situation of educational centers in Honduras. To obtain more real data on each of these issues, the Foundation conducts small field investigations taking into account the current pandemic situation, recently conducting one on July 30 on a possible migrant caravan. | |
