dc.descriptionEl proceso de práctica profesional es la culminación de diversos años de estudio, tiempo en el que se abarcan las temáticas técnicas de la materia, específicamente en las áreas de diseño, sin embargo, el ámbito “practico” y el “trabajo de campo” son aspectos de difícil atención dentro del aula de clases, aún más en los últimos dos años (2020-2021) con la crisis sanitaria por el Covid-19, por lo que dicha culminación ayuda a reforzar y a asentar las bases del ámbito laboral en el estudiante. Enlazando de esta manera lo teórico y lo práctico. La práctica profesional permite al estudiante de ingeniería civil desempeñarse en el proyecto u oficio de su preferencia, siempre y cuando estos se entrelacen con el área de estudio. En este caso en particular, dicha práctica profesional se llevó a cabo en conjunto con la empresa denominada “Ruiz & Betancourt Constructores S.A. de C.V.”; la empresa llevaba a cabo un total de cinco proyectos en diferentes zonas de la ciudad de San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras y uno en Tegucigalpa, de estos se tuvo total participación en tres, uno de esos proyectos fue la construcción de una casa de dos niveles en ciudad Jaraguá, el otro fue la construcción de una losa armada en la bodega principal de la compañía COFICAB, y el último fue la construcción de un muro perimetral alrededor del edificio de COFICAB.
