| dc.description | El Hospital San Felipe, como parte de los servicios que brinda al pueblo hondureño cuenta con un área de rehabilitación, la cual incluye: terapia física, ocupacional, creación de prótesis e hidroterapia, esta investigación parte de la necesidad que presentan los médicos del Hospital San Felipe, del área de rehabilitación de brindar una atención integral a los pacientes con problemas fonoaudiológicos, ya que actualmente no existe un espacio para realizar el correcto diagnóstico y su posterior tratamiento; la finalidad del proyecto se basa en la creación de un centro fonoaudiológico, el cual contará con el área de audiología y terapia de lenguaje, equipadas para realizar todas las pruebas, y con profesionales expertos en dichas ramas; como parte de la vinculación de esta institución con la formación profesional, se buscara la creación de un convenio con la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, para que los estudiantes desarrollen sus prácticas en dicho centro, y con el apoyo de la Fundación Pro Ayuda se gestionarán los insumos para su correcto funcionamiento. Para la realización del estudio se empleó una metodología con enfoque mixto (cuantitativo y cualitativo), una muestra dirigida a expertos, encuestas con los profesionales de cada centro y la evaluación de espacios físicos, se determinó que, por la cantidad de pacientes del Hospital San Felipe, se necesita prestar servicios de fonoaudiología, los que se podrán brindar con la creación del Centro Fonoaudiológico, por lo que se recomienda comenzar y continuar las gestiones. | |
