dc.descriptionMediante esta investigación se buscaba determinar la prefactibilidad de sembrar cacao en zonas de baja humedad con un sistema de riego que corrija estas condiciones. Para esto se realizaron diferentes estudios técnicos e investigaciones de campos con el fin de recopilar información que permitiera definir qué condiciones agroecológicas para la siembra de cacao cumple la zona en estudio, y cuales no cumple. Así mismo, se realizó un levantamiento de las características hídricas de las fuentes de agua para determinar si estas tienen la capacidad de suplir las necesidades de agua que requiere la plantación de cacao. Por otro lado, se realizó un estudio financiero de dos diferentes escenarios de la plantación de cacao con el cual se determinó que el proyecto es financieramente rentable. Con esto se puede concluir que: la finca La Frontera cumple con las características edafológicas del suelo para la siembra de cacao, pero no cumple con las características climáticas como ser; evapotranspiración y humedad relativa, por lo que beben ser corregidas mediante un sistema de riego. Las fuentes de agua cumplen las condiciones para implementar un sistema de riego por lo tanto el proyecto es pre factible técnica y financieramente, siempre y cuando se implemente un riguroso plan de riego y manejo.
dc.descriptionThis research study is based on cocoa cultivation, seeking to determine the profitability of sow in areas of low humidity implementing an irrigation system that corrects the deficiencies of moisture. to achieve this result it has searched in different technical studies, and research fields in order to collect information to define what ecological conditions for planting cocoa meets the study area, and which do not comply were made. studies also determined whether the conditions did not meet the area could be corrected by artificial methods. also, a survey of the hydrological characteristics of water sources was conducted to determine if these have the capacity to meet the water needs requiring cocoa plantation. on the other hand, a financial study of two different scenarios cocoa planting was performed to determine the financial profitability of the project. once the information was collected we concluded as follows; the farm meets soil characteristics of soil for planting cocoa, but does not meet the climatic characteristics such as; evapotranspiration and relative humidity, so it should be corrected by an irrigation system. water sources meet water conditions necessary for the implementation of an irrigation system whose investment does not diminish the profitability of the project. thus, we conclude that pre technique is feasible and financially plant cocoa farm bordering an irrigation system that includes a rigorous plan of irrigation and management.
