| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación sobre el Estudio de prefactibilidad elaboración y distribución de aceite de coco en San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras, presenta la oportunidad de una nueva línea de negocios porque cuenta con una plantación de palma de coco, con esto se puede lograr un mejor aprovechamiento y crecimiento económico, tiene como objetivo determinar si es factible desde un punto de mercado, técnico y financiero. Se realizó una investigación con un enfoque mixto predominado el enfoque cuantitativo acompañado de un estudio no experimental debido a que no se va a manipular deliberadamente las variables independientes para ver su efecto, con diseño transversal ya que los datos se recolectaran en el momento único que dure la investigación y un alcance descriptivo. La hipótesis de investigación señala que el proyecto es rentable si se obtiene una tasa interna de retorno mayor al costo de capital. Para la verificación de dicha hipótesis se inició con un estudio de mercado el cual sirvió de base para la elaboración del plan financiero y operativo para cinco años, estos confirman que las metas y objetivos del proyecto son alcanzables. El análisis financiero confirma que el proyecto es factible porque la TIR es mayor con un porcentaje de 34.26% sobre el costo de capital, dando un resultado del valor actual neto de L. 790,946.17 y recuperando su inversión inicial en dos años con siete meses, por lo tanto, se concluye que el proyecto es factible | |
| dc.description | The present research work on the production and distribution of coconut oil in San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras, It presents the opportunity of a new line of business, because it has a coconut palm plantation, with this you can achieve a better use and economic growth, it aims to determine if it is feasible from a market, technical and financial point of view. An investigation with a mixed approach predominated the quantitative one accompanied by a non-experimental study because the independent variables will not be deliberately manipulated to see their effect with cross-sectional design since the data will be collected at the only time that the investigation lasts and a descriptive scope. The research hypothesis indicates that the project is profitable if an internal rate of return greater than the cost of capital is obtained. To verify this hypothesis, a market study was started, which served as the basis for the preparation of the financial plan and an operational plan for five years, which confirms that the goals and objectives of the project are achievable. The financial analysis confirms that the project is feasible since the IRR is higher with a percentage of 34.26% on the cost of capital, giving a result of the net present value of L. 790,946.17 and recovering its initial investment in two years and six months therefore it is concluded that the project is feasible | |
