| dc.description | La hipertensión arterial es un problema de salud pública mundial la cual contribuye a la carga de cardiopatías, eventos cerebrovasculares e insuficiencia renal, y a la mortalidad y discapacidades prematuras. Objetivo. situ Contribuir al conocimiento de la acción de salud cardiovascular del adulto mayor con Hipertensión arterial atendido en el Hospital Santo Hermano Pedro. Hermano Pedro, Método Catacamas Olancho. Estudio descriptivo; realizado en el Hospital, de donde se obtuvo una muestra de 60 participantes mayores de 60 años. Se utilizó un cuestionario de 23 preguntas, se tomó presión arterial, talla y peso previo consentimiento informado. El criterio para la clasificación de la hipertensión arterial fue la guía de la International Society of Hypert ension 2020 y para la parte nutricional se tomaron los rangos de la sociedad española de nutrición parenteral y enteral y sociedad española de geriatría resultados. Dentro de los aspectos sociodemográficos se encontró mayor prevalencia en el género femenino (63.3% mujeres y 36.3 en hombres), con una brecha de tratamiento no favorable ya que a pesar de que el 100% conocía su tratamiento antihipertensivo el 40% presento cifras tensionales elevadas, La HTA muestra una prevalencia alta en la diabetes mellitus tipo 2 con un 48.3% de los pacientes estudiados, el 28.3% presentaba complicaciones tales como enfermedad renal crónica y evento cerebrovascular en un 10% , con una situación nutricional en la que solo el 65% presenta un IMC adecuado, un 8.3% peso insuficiente y un 11.6% presenta obesidad. | |
| dc.description | High blood pressure is a global public health problem which contributes to the burden of heart disease, cerebrovascular ev ents, and kidney failure, and to mortality and premature disabilities. Objective Method Descriptive Contribute to the knowledge of the cardiovascular health situation of the eldest adult with high blood pressure treated in the Hospital Santo Hermano Pedro. study : carried at the Hospital Santo Hermano Pedro ,Catacamas Olancho , from which a sample of 60 participants over the age of 60 was obtained. A 23question questionnaire was used, blood pressure, size and weight were taken with informed consent. The cri terion for the classification of high blood pressure was taken from the guides of the International Society of Hypertension 2020 and for the nutritional part the ranges from the Spanish society of parenteral and enteral nutrition and Spanish society of ger iatrics. Results Among the sociodemographic aspects, higher prevalence was found in the female gender (63.3% women and 36.3% in men), Although 100% knew their antihypertensive treatment 40% had high blood pressure, HT shows a high prevalence in type 2 dia betes mellitus with 48.3% of the patients studied, 28.3% had complications such as chronic kidney disease and cerebrovascular event by 10%, with a nutritional situation in which 65% have adequate BMI, 8.3% insufficient weight and 11.6% are obese. | |
