| dc.description | El presente estudio se realizó con el propósito de elaborar un análisis de factibilidad para implementar un sistema de energía renovable fotovoltaica para la oficina de Sercom de Honduras ubicada en Edificio Castaños, con la finalidad de presentar una propuesta donde se comprobó el ahorro económico a través de la vida útil de los paneles solares. Para ello, se aplicaron 144 encuestas a los empleados que laboran en dicha oficina donde se identificó la percepción de los beneficios adicionales de este proyecto, como ser: mejora a la imagen corporativa y empresa responsable con el ambiente. Adicionalmente, se realizaron entrevistas a personal experto en energía, de donde se obtuvo la orientación sobre las especificaciones técnicas, costos de mercado, tiempo de instalación, entre otros. Este análisis confirmó que con la implementación de los paneles solares se obtiene un 78% de ahorro en la factura de energía eléctrica, lo cual representa USD 5,049,587.54 durante los 30 años de vida útil, además de un valor presente neto positivo de $1,071,200.66 y la recuperación de la inversión en 7 años, haciendo al proyecto factible. Se recomendó utilizar el financiamiento con fondos propios de la empresa, dado que el ahorro sería mayor al no tener que derogar pago de intereses a instituciones financieras por un monto de USD 160,773.00 durante un plazo de 7 años. | |
| dc.description | The study presented was accomplished with the purpose to elaborate an analysis of actability in order to implement a system of renewable photovoltaic energy for the Sercom office in Honduras, located in the Castaños building, with the finality to present an offer where it was determined the economic saving through the sustainable and usable life of the solar panels. For this reason, there were applied 144 surveys to the employees that labor in said office, where it was identified the perception of the additional benefits of this project, for example: better corporate image and responsible company of the ambient. Additionally, interviews were realized to personal expert in energy, were it was obtained the orientation of the technical specifications, market costs, time of installment and others. This analysis confirmed that the implementation of the solar panels obtains a 78% of saving in the bill of electrical energy, which represents USD 5,049,587.54 during the 30 years of useful life, also to a positive net value present of $1,071,200.66 in the recuperation of the investment in 7 years, making the project feasible. It was recommended to use the financing with funds proper of the company, for the reason that the saving would be major at not having to derogate pay of interest to financial institutions for a price of USD 160,773.00 during a lapse of 7 years. | |
