| dc.description | La práctica profesional, se llevó a cabo en Copantl Hotel & Convention Center, una empresa sólidamente establecida, desde el inicio de sus operaciones el 1 de abril del año de 1980 bajo el nombre comercial de Hotel Copantl Sula. El Hotel se destaca por el prestigioso Centro de Convenciones Copantl ubicado en la ciudad industrial del país, destaca entre «Los 15 Mejores Recintos para Eventos» en Latinoamérica en este 2020. Así lo destaco la revista mexicana Latinoamérica Meetings, que reconoce los sitios adecuados para el turismo de reuniones en la región. “El Centro de Convenciones Copantl está cerca de atractivos turísticos que favorecerá la realización de eventos, además se encuentra en San Pedro de Sula, la segunda ciudad más grande de Honduras y un centro turístico que por su desarrollo industrial atrae convenciones, congresos y reuniones de negocios”. También distinguen en la lista recintos de diferentes países como México, Puerto Rico, Perú, Argentina y Colombia. Además, Honduras, Costa Rica y Panamá en el área de Centro América. Una de las certificaciones con las que cuenta Copantl es “Certified Meetings Specialist”, los organizadores encuentran en el recinto lo necesario para la organización de los eventos, personal de apoyo calificado, servicio de catering, equipo especializado en montaje, elevadores de carga, helipuertos y una torre de estacionamiento techado para 700 vehículos. La organización se encuentra dividida en varios departamentos, entre ellos el departamento de ventas y mercadeo, área donde se realizó la práctica profesional.
