dc.descriptionEl siguiente trabajo se realizó en el Hospital de Especialidades del IHSS en la ciudad de Tegucigalpa, Honduras. La finalidad de este trabajo fue la de responder a una de las situaciones que afectan al pueblo Hondureño, el nivel de calidad en el IHSS. Se partió de la siguiente hipótesis original: los pacientes atendidos en la sala de medicina de mujeres del Hospital de Especialidades del IHSS se encuentran satisfechos con la calidad de atención del Servicio de Enfermería, debido a esto se formuló una encuesta, la cual fue aplicada a pacientes dentro del centro hospitalario con la ayuda del personal de enfermería. Esta muestra se hizo de forma aleatoria, y respetando la situación de cada uno de los pacientes en el hospital. Al final de este trabajo se encuentran todas las conclusiones a las que se llegó, así como recomendaciones y un plan de acción para la mejora de la calidad en el IHSS.
dc.descriptionThe following work was done at the IHSS Specialties Hospital in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The focus of this work was to attempt to give a response to one of the situations that affect the Honduran people the most; the quality of the IHSS. We parted from the original hypothesis that states, that the patients being treated in the women’s ward of the Specialties Hospital of the IHSS are satisfied with the quality of the infirmary service. After this we developed a survey, which was filled by patients in the hospital. This was done with the help of the nurses and doctors, and was done in way that would respect the patients’ rights. At the conclusion of this work, you’ll find our recommendations, as well as a plan to better the quality of the IHSS.
