| dc.description | Esta dissertação busca estabelecer um possível diálogo entre a perspectiva discursiva de linguagem, a partir da Análise do Discurso Francesa, dos estudos foucaultianos, e dos Estudos da Tradução. A Análise do Discurso Francesa e Estudos da Tradução permitiram evidenciar as falhas que influenciam o ato tradutório enquanto produção de discurso. Considerando que a Análise do Discurso Francesa é uma disciplina atravessada por outras áreas e, de maneira semelhante a tradução também opera de forma interdisciplinar, pretendemos estabelecer pontos de contato em que ambas as teorias possam juntas, mostrar a reflexão em torno do problema da pesquisa. Partindo deste possível diálogo, objetiva-se estudar a tradução técnica sob a ótica da visão pós-moderna de tradução, ou seja, a tradução enquanto transformação. A aproximação entre condições de produção do discurso e a teoria do Skopos (REIS; VERMEER, 1989) ou propósito de tradução, permite compreender como e por que ocorrem as transformações no texto traduzido, bem como os efeitos de sentido que emergem das marcas tradutórias deixadas no texto. | dc.description | This Master's thesis aims at stablishing a possible dialogue between the discursive perspective of language, French Discourse Analysis, the Foucauldian studies, and Translation Studies. French Discourse Analysis and Translation Studies allows highlighting the factors that influence the act of translation as speech production. Whereas the French Discourse Analysis is a discipline crossed by other areas similarly the translation also operates in an interdisciplinary way. We intend to show how both theories, each with its own particularities, can be complementary. From this possible dialogue, the objective is to study the technical translation from the perspective of postmodern vision of translation, or the translation as transformation. The joining between speech production conditions and the theory of Skopos (REIS, VERMEER, 1989) or purpose of translation, allows us to understand how and why occur the changes in the translated text as well as the effects of meaning that emerge from the translational marks left in the text. The material used in this practical discursive analysis consists of four Smartphones user guides made by Apple and Samsung manufacturers, with a two manuals in English and their translation into Portuguese of Brazil. The corpus consists of samples (RDs) extracted from the discourse of the translated manuals that show the transformative nature of translation as well as the power relations that are established in the translated text.
