| dc.description | The Criollo horse market has been gaining greater prominence in today 's agribusiness , this chain that is growing and having recognition. It can be said that today the creation of horses in the properties does not get more just because of the need for animals to service to the property or even as a hobby, but as a way of getting more income and business owners to . This work is based on the municipality of Don Pedrito, where through a questionnaire obtained information regarding the creation of Criollo horses in the city, and what factors determine the choice of this branch of agribusiness. Among the main problems encountered in this chain gives emphasis to the fact that production is still much cultural barriers (the image of the horse associated with a consumer for personal satisfaction), and because of the great distance of the city center which hosts the main trim and auctions . Another factor that it is worth mentioning is the lack of publicity around the jail and the poor visibility of businesses around the Criollo horse. However we can say that some of these barriers are down, there are a greater knowledge about the Equine , what motivates the growth of production . In addition to the income generated by the sale of animals itself, the sector still offers generating business through professional directly and indirectly linked to equine industry. | |
| dc.description | O mercado de cavalos crioulos vem obtendo maior destaque no atual cenário do agronegócio, cadeia esta que vem crescendo e tendo reconhecimento. Pode-se dizer que hoje a criação de equinos nas propriedades não se dá mais apenas pelo fato da necessidade de animais para serviço em prol da propriedade ou ainda mesmo por hobby, mas sim como mais uma forma de obtenção de renda e negócios para os proprietários. O presente trabalho tem como base o município de Dom Pedrito, onde através de um questionário obteve-se informações referentes à criação de cavalos crioulos no município, e quais fatores determinam a escolha por esse ramo do agronegócio. Dentre os principais problemas encontrados nessa cadeia dáse destaque ao fato de que a produção encontra ainda barreiras tanto culturais (a imagem do Cavalo associado a um bem de consumo para satisfação pessoal), como pelo fato da distância do município dos grandes centros onde acontecem os principais remates e leilões. Outro fator que cabe ressaltar é a pouca divulgação em torno da cadeia, e a pouca visibilidade de negócios em torno do Cavalo Crioulo. No entanto hoje podemos dizer que parte dessas barreiras foram derrubadas, tem-se maior conhecimento em torno da equinocultura, o que motiva o crescimento da produção.
