| dc.description | This report aims to present the research data obtained during the stage carried out in
the project titled Gender Issues and Tourism: the empowerment of the women
involved with the tourist activity in Arraias-TO. The participation of women in the
development of tourism in Arraias was analyzed, based on their work, which is
directly or indirectly linked to the region's tourism activity. Some theoretical reflections
on feminism, women's participation in the labor market and tourism were presented.
The methodology used is the exploratory and explanatory case study, and the
research techniques were based on participant observation, application of forms and
semi-structured interviews. With the results achieved through the research subjects,
we have seen that the work empowers the Arraian women making them autonomous.
In addition, women contributing household expenses participate in decision-making
at home and in society. It is observed that the Arraian women can compose the
scenario of the tourist market in Arraias when developing activities linked to the
events and the services of the municipality. | |
| dc.description | O presente relatório tem como objetivo apresentar os dados de pesquisa obtidos
durante o estágio realizado no projeto intitulado Questões de Gênero e Turismo: o
empoderamento das mulheres envolvidas com a atividade turística em Arraias-TO.
Analisou-se a participação da mulher no desenvolvimento do turismo em Arraias, a
partir de seu trabalho, que está direta ou indiretamente ligado ao turismo da região.
Apresentou-se algumas reflexões teóricas sobre o feminismo, a participação da
mulher no mercado de trabalho e o turismo. A metodologia utilizada é o estudo de
caso de caráter exploratório e explicativo, e as técnicas de pesquisa baseou-se em
observação participante, aplicação de questionários e entrevistas semiestruturadas.
Com os resultados alcançados através dos sujeitos de pesquisa, vimos que o
trabalho empodera as mulheres arraianas tornando-as autônomas. Além disso, as
mulheres ao contribuir com as despesas do lar participam nas tomadas de decisões
em casa e na sociedade. Observa-se que as mulheres arraianas podem compor o
cenário do mercado turístico em Arraias ao desenvolver atividades ligadas aos
eventos e aos serviços do município. | |
