| dc.description | The research developed a case study of Araguaína airport, which presented an
overview of air transport in the municipality of Araguaína -TO, from 2015 to the current
scenario and trends for 2025. The theoretical framework provides a brief history of
regional air transport , as it is in line with the mode of transport practiced, and places
the sector's challenges in the reality of a State in the Legal Amazon. Then, a survey
of information was carried out and important sources and data were organized to
understand the air modal in the locality. From the above, it was found that the
scenario has not advanced much in recent years. Actions that are in progress, such
as the renovation of the airport, have not yet effected a significant change for the
user, but in the short term they may be reassessed, since this year there may be an
increase in the offer of flights due to the insertion of new companies. | |
| dc.description | A pesquisa desenvolveu um estudo de caso do aeroporto de Araguaína, no qual foi
apresentado um panorama do transporte aéreo no município de Araguaína -TO, de
2015 ao cenário atual e tendências para 2025. O referencial teórico traz um breve
histórico sobre o transporte aéreo regional, por se alinhar à modalidade de
transporte praticada, e coloca os desafios do setor na realidade de um Estado da
Amazônia Legal. Em seguida, fez-se um levantamento de informações e organizou-
se fontes e dados importantes para entender o modal aéreo na localidade. A partir
do exposto, verificou-se que o cenário não avançou muito nos últimos anos. Ações
que estão em andamento, como a reforma do aeroporto, ainda não efetivaram uma
mudança significativa para o usuário, mas a curto prazo poderão ser reavaliadas, já
que ainda neste ano poderá ocorrer um aumento na oferta de voos pela inserção de
novas companhias. | |
