The theoretical models of cognitive-behavioral interventions are effective in regulating the circadian system and the social functioning of the individual. This research aims to compare the empirical evidence of cognitive-behavioral intervention models of TB in adults in the light of efficiency indicators. The databases selected for the theoretical review were: Scopus, Science Direct and Pubmed. The following search terms were used: a) theoretical terms (psychologist, intervention, behavior, cognitive, treatment) and b) construct terms (bipolar, cyclothimia, euthimic, mania), the Boolean operator "AND" was used and the inclusion criteria were taken into account for the selection of articles. The results of the research include a reduction in the family burden, improvement in the quality of life, organization of daily activities and control of emotions; however, the follow-up studies must be longer in order to accurately evaluate the efficiency of the treatment. In conclusion, cognitive-behavioral interventions for Bipolar Disorder are effective, but, clinical and theoretical experience should be reviewed for the clarity of the research process. It is recommended to review the indicators of efficiency and limitation and the choice of an adequate research methodology.
