| dc.description | El estudio #MeToo: Muévete segura, Mujeres y transporte público, identifica y evalúa los riesgos a los que se ven expuestos los usuarios de los sistemas de transporte público Transmetro y Transcaribe que operan en las ciudades de Barranquilla y Cartagena respectivamente,
considerando los factores que generan inseguridad en los escenarios destinados para la prestación
del servicio y las cifras de violencia sexual, teniendo en cuenta la percepción y el concepto de seguridad inherente de cada individuo; el estudio mencionado se desarrolló a partir de la recolección de datos obtenidos a través de la aplicación de encuestas de tipo experimental de preferencias reveladas y declaradas, que permite conocer y analizar la reacción de los usuarios
frente a distintas situaciones de la vida real y las variables que las determinan, sin la necesidad de
limitar el número de variables o presentar todas las posibles situaciones a un mismo individuo; de modo que, el estudio realizado deja ver el porcentaje de víctimas de violencia y/o acoso
sexual presente en las ciudades de Barranquilla y Cartagena, relacionados directamente con
factores como el género, la edad y el estrato social, evidenciando así la fracción de la sociedad
más vulnerable ante estos sucesos y los factores que influyen en la percepción de seguridad de los usuarios, teniendo en cuenta el impacto generado debido al notable incremento de sucesos
relacionados con este tipo de violencia en los últimos años. Lo anterior, con el fin de identificar soluciones que permitan una disminución en la cantidad de casos de violencia y/o acoso sexual
latentes en la sociedad, y realizar comparaciones para establecer diferencias entre ambos sistemas desde el punto de vista de la seguridad en la movilidad, factor que afecta directamente
el libre desarrollo de los usuarios del servicio. | |
| dc.description | The research #MeToo: Move safety, women and public transportation, identifies and assesses the risks for the users of the public transport systems Transmetro and Transcaribe that operate in the cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena respectively, considering the factors that generate

taking into account the perception and the inherent security concept of each individual; the aforementioned research was ascertained through the selection of surveys, which allows us to know and analyze the reaction of users to real-life situations and the variables that determine
them, the need to limit the number of variables or present all the possible situations to the same
individual; Thus, the study does not show the percentage of victims of violence and / or sexual harassment present in the cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena, directly related to factors such as gender, age and social stratum, thus evidencing the fraction of the most vulnerable society in the face of these events and the factors that influence users' perception of security, taking into
account the impact generated by the notable increase in the events related to this type of violence
in recent years. The above, in order to identify solutions that allow a decrease in the number of cases of violence and / or latent sexual harassment in society and makes comparisons for the
