dc.descriptionArchitecture until now has been characterized, mainly, by the physical creation of spaces, starting from the use of representations such as plans to construction techniques, among other tools that focus on tangible construction. This is the reason for this research, whose objective is to re-signify the sense of inhabiting Architecture through the imaginary provided by a text. The objective of the research was achieved through a qualitative methodology oriented in 3 phases, which were analytical, experimental, and interpretative. In the analytical phase, a theoretical compilation was carried out to reveal the links between architecture and literature and neuroscience, thus revealing how intangible spaces are created and perceived through text, and how the neuroscientific discoveries of mental images validate the imaginary recreation of intangible spaces, having the mind as the scenario of permanence and the word as the constructive material. Subsequently, the experimental phase was developed, in which a practical exercise was carried out in the form of a workshop in which the participants were subjected to experiment through two literary samples. Finally, in the interpretative phase, the information collected was analyzed and the use of mental images in the recreation of living spaces within the imaginary was demonstrated. 25 of the 30 participants portrayed through drawings and descriptions the sensory experiences, and the use of auditory, motor, olfactory, visual, and sensory mental images.
dc.descriptionLa Arquitectura hasta ahora ha se caracterizado, principalmente, por la creación física de espacios, partiendo desde el uso de representaciones como planos hasta técnicas constructivas, entre otras herramientas que se enfocan en la construcción tangible. Razón por la cual surge esta investigación, cuyo objetivo es resignificar el sentido de habitar la Arquitectura a través del imaginario que proporciona un texto. El objetivo de la investigación se pudo lograr por medio de una metodología cualitativa orientada en 3 fases, las cuales fueron analítica, experimental e interpretativa. En la fase analítica se realizó una recopilación teórica que partía de revelar los lazos de relaciones entre la arquitectura con la literatura y neurociencia, de esta forma la forma en cómo se crean y perciben los espacios intangibles por medio del texto, y cómo los descubrimientos neurocientíficos de las imágenes mentales validan la recreación imaginaria de los espacios intangibles, teniendo a la mente como el escenario de permanencia y la palabra como el material constructivo. Posterior se desarrolló la fase experimental, en la cual se llevó a cabo un ejercicio práctico en forma de taller en el que los participantes estuvieron sujetos a experimentar por medio de dos muestras literarias. Y por último en la fase interpretativa se analizó la información recolectada, se pudo demostrar el uso de las imágenes mentales en la recreación de espacios habitables dentro del imaginario, 25 de los 30 participantes retrataron por medio de dibujos y descripciones las experiencias sensoriales, y el uso de las imágenes mentales auditivas, motrices, olfativas, visuales y sensitivas.
