| dc.description | Las fracturas en la columna vertebral se han vuelto una consulta médica habitual entre la población adulta en lo que el diagnóstico, la intervención médica y tratamiento fisioterapéutico oportuno juegan un papel fundamental para la recuperación positiva del paciente, evitando dificultades, recaídas durante el proceso de tratamiento y aparición de fracturas futuras o en casos muy severos, la muerte. En el presente artículo se hablara más a profundidad sobre la intervención quirúrgica de dicha lesión mediante la implementación de la vertebroplastia y Cifoplastia, las cuales son la técnicas invasivas en las cuales se repara la fractura de la columna vertebral y el protocolo fisioterapéutico que consta de las fase uno reposo y manejo de dolor, fase dos movilizaciones progresivas y por ultimo fase tres readaptación y reacondicionamiento con el objetivo general de disminuir el dolor y reintegrar el paciente a sus actividades de la vida diaria con una calidad de vida óptima. | |
| dc.description | Spine fractures have become a common medical consultation among the adult population in which the diagnosis, medical intervention and timely physiotherapy treatment play a fundamental role for the positive recovery of the patient, avoiding difficulties, relapses during the treatment process and appearance of future fractures or in very severe cases, death. In this article we will talk more in depth about the surgical intervention of said lesion through the implementation of vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, which are the invasive techniques in which the fracture of the spine is repaired and the physiotherapeutic protocol that consists of the phase one rest and pain management, phase two progressive mobilizations and finally phase three readaptation and reconditioning with the general objective of reducing pain and reintegrating the patient into their activities of daily living with an optimal quality of life. | |
