| dc.description | En este artículo se podrá determinar que la magnetoterapia sirve como complemento a las terapias manuales convencionales utilizadas en la ciencia de la fisioterapia. La terapia manual es la modalidad más utilizada en fisioterapia por su alta afectividad y bajo costo. Es indicada en rehabilitación para fortalecer musculatura, ganancias de rangos de movilidad, mejoras en coordinación y equilibrio, disminución del dolor, entre otras. Como complemento, la magnetoterapia ayuda a la recuperación rápida de los tejidos por medio de efectos vasculares, celulares ayudando a la disminución del dolor y la inflamación. Por ende, al tener similitud en las indicaciones y por su efecto reconstructor de tejidos, se pudo evidenciar que es un complemento a la terapia manual. También se enfatizó sobre los efectos de la magnetoterapia en el tejido óseo ya que es el tejido del cuerpo más profundo y por ende de más difícil acceso para tratar. Para todo lo anterior se realizó un estudio de campo en la Ciudad de Panamá, una revisión bibliográfica y un estudio sistémico analítico. | |
| dc.description | In this article it will be possible to determine that the magnetotherapy serves as a complement to the conventional manual therapies used in the science of physiotherapy. Manual therapy is the most used modality in physiotherapy due to its high affectivity and low cost. It is indicated in rehabilitation to strengthen muscles, gains in mobility ranges, improvements in coordination and balance, pain reduction, among others. As a complement, the magnetotherapy accelerates the regeneration of the tissues by means of vascular and cellular effects, helping to reduce pain and inflammation. Therefore, the magnetotherapy having similarity in the indications and its tissue regenerating effect could be confirmed as a complement to manual therapy. In addition to this, emphasis was placed on the effects of magnetotherapy on the osseous tissue since it is the deepest tissue of the body and therefore of the most difficult access to treat. For this, a field study was conducted in Panama City, a bibliographic review and a systemic analytical study. | |
