| dc.description | Objetivo: Traçar o perfil gestacional e obstétrico das pacientes submetidas à parto cesáreo segundo a Classificação de Robson, no Hospital Nossa Senhora da Conceição no município de Tubarão/SC, no período de janeiro de 2020 a dezembro de 2020. Métodos: Estudo observacional com delineamento transversal, realizado através da análise de prontuários de pacientes que realizaram parto cesárea no ano de 2020, em um hospital regional de referência em atendimento a gestação de alto risco no Sul do Brasil. Resultados: A taxa geral de cesariana representou 59% (1562) dos partos realizados em 2020 e a principal indicação foi a cicatriz prévia. Com base na classificação de Robson, os grupos 5 (37,3%), 2 (28,4%) e 10 (9,7%) obtiveram a maior contribuição para as taxas de cesárea na instituição. Houve associação entre a ocorrência da cesárea eletiva e as variáveis sociodemográficas, pré gestacionais e gestacional das parturientes. As mulheres mais velhas, com maior escolaridade e com companheiro apresentaram maior ocorrência de cesárea eletiva (p<0,001), enquanto que mulheres sem comorbidades, com melhor acesso ao pré natal e com idade gestacional a termo também realizaram mais cesarianas eletivas (p<0,001). Conclusão: A classificação de Robson reuniu informações de forma otimizada sobre as taxas de cesariana, permitindo identificar o perfil e o grupo das gestantes com maior risco ao parto cesáreo. É uma ferramenta útil para planejar e implementar estratégias direcionadas a reduzir e otimizar as taxas de cesáreas em um mesmo serviço hospitalar. | |
| dc.description | Objective: To trace the gestational and obstetric profile of patients undergoing cesarean section according to the Robson Classification, at Nossa Senhora da Conceição Hospital in the city of Tubarão/SC, from January 2020 to December 2020. Methods: Observational study with a cross-sectional design, carried out through the analysis of medical records of patients who underwent cesarean section in the year of 2020, in a regional referral hospital in high-risk pregnancy care, located in southern Brazil. Results: The overall cesarean rate represented 59% (1562) of deliveries performed in 2020 and the main indication was the previous scar. Based on Robson's classification, groups 5 (37.3%), 2 (28.4%) and 10 (9.7%) had the highest contribution to cesarean section rates at the institution. There was an association between the occurrence of elective cesarean section and sociodemographic, pre-gestational and gestational variables of the parturients. Older women, with higher education and with a partner had a higher occurrence of elective cesarean section (p<0.001), while women without comorbidities, with better access to prenatal care and with full term gestational age also had more elective cesarean sections (p<0.001). Conclusion: Robson's classification optimally gathered information on cesarean section rates, allowing the identification of the profile and group of pregnant women at higher risk for cesarean delivery. It is a useful tool for planning and implementing strategies aimed at reducing and optimizing cesarean section rates in the same hospital service. | |
