| dc.description | Objective: This study aimed to verify the vaccine coverage of the public and private network in the city of Tubarão (SC) between boys and girls from 9 to 14 years. Methods: A cross-sectional study, in which the secondary database with anti-HPV doses recorded between 2014 and 2017 was analyzed, in the Tubarão Municipal Epidemiological Surveillance, Pró-Vida Clinic and Hospital and Maternity Socimed. Results: In the years under study, there were a total of 4,057 resident girls from Tubarão (SC) from 9 to 14 years, coverage was 19.7%. Among boys, out of a total of 3,968, the vaccination coverage rate was 1.6%. Conclusion: It was concluded that there is a low HPV vaccination coverage in the priority age range of this prophylactic intervention in the municipality, as a result of a probable lack of knowledge about HPV vaccination by the entire population. | |
| dc.description | Objetivo: Este estudo teve o objetivo de verificar a cobertura vacinal da rede pública e privada no município de Tubarão (SC) entre meninos e meninas de 9 a 14 anos. Métodos: Estudo transversal, em que foram analisados a base de dados secundários com o registro das doses anti-HPV ministradas entre 2014 e 2017, na Vigilância Epidemiológica Municipal de Tubarão, Clínica Pró-vida e Hospital e Maternidade Socimed. Resultados: Nos anos em estudo, havia um total de 4.057 meninas residentes de Tubarão (SC) de 9 a 14 anos, a cobertura foi de 19,7%. Já entre meninos, de um total de 3.968, a taxa de cobertura vacinal foi de 1,6%. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que há uma baixa cobertura vacinal do HPV na faixa etária prioritária desta intervenção profilática no município, resultado de uma provável falha a respeito do conhecimento sobre a vacinação contra o HPV por parte de toda a população. | |
