| dc.description | Abstract: Ultraviolet radiation causes effects on the skin, among them aging. As a way to prevent damage from sun exposure, the sunscreen is indispensable for this purpose. This research aimed to analyze the habit of sunscreen among individuals who sought aesthetic procedures at the Cosmetology and Aesthetics Laboratories - LCE, University of Southern Santa Catarina, Tubarão, SC. This research it was outlined with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach considering all the physical and facial evaluation records And it was outlined with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach considering all the physical and facial evaluation records how descriving records of aesthetic treatments in LCE, from the first semester of the year 2012 to 2016. The program Microsoft Excel® with descriptive analysis by the Epi Info 3.5.2 program did the data collection. Of those treated 44%: 95% CI [40.7; 47.4%] reported using sunscreen. Of these, 75.0% do so at inappropriate times. It was verified the need to investigate in the anamnesis of aesthetic treatments the use of sunscreen and to guide to the appropriate use. | |
| dc.description | Resumo: A radiação ultravioleta provoca efeitos na pele dentre eles, o envelhecimento. Como forma de prevenir danos decorrentes a exposição solar o filtro solar é indispensável para este efeito. Essa pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar o hábito de isso de protetor solar entre os indivíduos que procuraram por procedimentos estéticos nos Laboratórios de Cosmetologia e Estética – LCE da Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, Tubarão, SC. E foi delineada com uma abordagem quantitativa e transversal considerando todas as fichas de avaliação corporal e facial com registros de tratamentos estéticos nos LCE, a partir do primeiro semestre do ano de 2012 até 2016. A coleta de dados foi feita pelo programa Microsoft Excel® com análise descritiva pelo programa Epi Info 3.5.2. Dos atendidos 44%: IC95% [40,7;47,4%] referiram fazer o uso de filtro solar. Destes, 75,0% o fazem em horário inadequado. Verificou-se a necessidade de investigar na anamnese de atendimentos estéticos o uso de filtro solar e orientar para o uso adequado. | |
