| dc.description | This study aims to discover similarities and differences between the main economic, and financial, crises in the history of US. To do it so, this paper will describe those crises, addressing the periods before, during, and after the events; through discussing its origins, developments, answers, and consequences. This study is structured with a brief introduction at first, which includes a superficial explanation about the main subjects of this project (both crises), as well as technical characteristics of this paper, such as: The research question, the study goals, how the theme is justified, a complete classification of the research, and the chapters structure. In the next chapter is presented technical and theorical information about the functioning of the financial market, and economic and financial crises, which is going to be essential to understand the next chapters. The next two will describe both crises themed in the study, utilizing theorical, historical, and data analysis, to validate the ideas of the project. Next, the chapter 5 is the last one before the conclusion, and it will make a counterpoint between the chapters 3 and 4, using as its main source the chapters itself (already written and duly referenced), other sources are used to add value to the calculation of the study results. | |
| dc.description | Este estudo tem por objetivo descobrir pontos de semelhança e diferença entre as principais crises, financeiras e econômicas, da história dos Estados Unidos. Para isso, o presente trabalho descreverá as referidas crises; abordando seus períodos pré, durante, e pós evento, discutindo assim suas origens, desenrolar, respostas e consequências.
Como estruturação do estudo, primeiramente é apresentado uma breve introdução, que contempla uma explanação superficial sobre os assuntos principais do trabalho (as duas crises), bem como as características técnicas do projeto, como por exemplo: a pergunta de pesquisa, os objetivos do estudo, a justificativa de escolha de tema, a classificação completa da pesquisa, e a estruturação de capítulos. No capítulo seguinte são apresentadas informações técnicas e teóricas sobre o funcionamento do mercado financeiro, e de crises; econômicas e financeiras, servindo como base para auxiliar no entendimento dos capítulos sequentes. Destes capítulos subsequentes, os dois primeiros descrevem as crises tema do estudo, foram utilizadas informações e análises teóricas, históricas, e estatísticas para validar as ideias transmitidas. Por fim, o capítulo 5, sendo o último antes das considerações finais, faz um contraponto entre os capítulos 3 e 4, utilizando-se como base principal os próprios capítulos já escritos e devidamente referenciados; e ainda, de algumas outras fontes que agregam à apuração do resultado do estudo. | |
