| dc.description | Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar as possíveis matérias-primas para a produção de combustíveis alternativos com viabilidade econômica e ambiental para uso na aviação comercial. O tema combustíveis alternativos e renováveis aplicados à aviação tem apresentado relevância no contexto global, havendo convergência de esforços para reduzir a dependência do combustível fóssil e a geração de gases de efeito estufa. Para tanto, foi realizada pesquisa descritiva, utilizando-se como procedimento a pesquisa bibliográfica. Identificou-se iniciativas e programas relacionadas a descarbonização da aviação, as principais vias de produção de combustíveis alternativos, bem como potenciais fontes de matérias-primas para combustíveis alternativos com aplicação na indústria aeronáutica. Apesar da existência de fontes de matériasprimas promissoras para a substituição do combustível fóssil utilizado na indústria aeronáutica, os biocombustíveis aparentam ser a melhor alternativa para uso no curto, médio e longo prazo. A energia eólica e a energia solar ainda precisam passar por estudos e testes para serem amplamente utilizadas. | |
| dc.description | This work aimed to analyze the possible raw materials for the production of alternative fuels with economic and environmental feasibility for use in commercial aviation. The topic of alternative and renewable fuels applied to aviation has been relevant in the global context, with efforts to reduce dependence on fossil fuel and the generation of greenhouse gases. For that, a descriptive research was carried out, using the bibliographic research as a procedure. Initiatives and programs related to aviation decarbonization, the main production routes of alternative fuels, as well as potential sources of raw materials for alternative fuels with application in the aeronautical industry were identified. Despite the existence of promising sources of raw materials for the replacement of fossil fuel used in the aeronautical industry, biofuels appear to be the best alternative for use in the short, medium and long term. Wind energy and solar energy still need to undergo studies and tests to be widely used. | |
