| dc.description | O fator predisponente para o tratamento endodôntico é a contaminação bacteriana nos sistemas dos canais radiculares. O sucesso do tratamento está relacionado a limpeza e diminuição de organismos patogênicos. Tendo como objetivo, prevenir o desenvolvimento e regressão de grandes lesões periapicais. São utilizados para o tratamento dessas patologias medicamentos que tenham o poder antisséptico e boa eficiência sobre as bactérias. O intuito dessa revisão literária é estudar o uso do Iodofórmio sendo o medicamento de primeira escolha por apresentar ação anti-inflamatória, promovendo a sanificação dos canais radiculares e permitindo a reparação óssea. | |
| dc.description | The predisposing factor for endodontic treatment is bacterial contamination in the root canal systems. The success of the treatment is related to the cleaning and decrease of pathogenic organisms. The goal is to prevent the development and regression of large periapical lesions. For the treatment of these pathologies, medications that have antiseptic power and good efficiency on bacteria are used. The purpose of this literature review is to study the use of Iodoform, which is the drug of first choice because it has anti-inflammatory action, promoting the sanitation of root canals and allowing bone repair. | |
