| dc.description | The 1932 Constitutionalist Revolution marked twentieth-century Brazil. Within this context, we will explore the reasons that led to its outbreak, the way the fighting took place, and the political backstage of this historical episode, which for some historians had an inevitable out-come. However, the problem with this research is to analyze the way in which the 1932 Revo-lution ended, addressing the controversies about the fact. The aim of the research is mainly to analyze the facts that led the constitutionalist revolutionaries to defeat by arms and to the ar-mistice with the government of Getúlio Vargas and its consequences. | |

Dentro deste contexto, serão explorados os motivos que levaram à sua eclosão, a forma como transcorreram os combates, além dos bastidores políticos deste episodio histórico, que para alguns historiadores, teve um desfecho inevitável. Entretanto, o problema desta pesquisa é analisar a forma como se deu o fim da Revolução de 1932, abordando as controvérsias sobre o fato. O objetivo da pesquisa é analisar principalmente os fatos que levaram os revolucionários constitucionalistas à derrota pelas armas e o ao armistício com o governo de Getúlio Vargas e as suas consequências. | |
