| dc.description | The present work has as its theme the Bitcoin, addressing to its creation and how it works. The work, that has the title “Bitcoin: A cryptocurrency in the capitalist economy” shows itself relevant for the study of Economic Sciences because addresses to a current theme that has been the center of discussion in the past years. Therefore, the general objective is to assess how Bitcoin fits in the capitalist economy and the specific objectives are: present the history of currency, the importance of money and how it works in the capitalist economy; understand how cryptocurrencies wore created; address how Bitcoin was created and how it developed and how it works; analyze how Bitcoin can (or cannot) fit into a capitalist economy. This study is classified as a basic, qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, bibliographic, and documentary research. The theoretical foundation broaches the themes related to currency and its operation; reporting its emergence and evolution, talking about the financial system and its institutions, addressing to monetary policy and approaches the cryptocurrencies: their creation, characteristics, and functioning. The development focuses on Bitcoin, explaining how this cryptocurrency was created and how it works, and also reports important aspects about it. Lastly, it is concluded how Bitcoin fits into a capitalist economy. | |
| dc.description | O presente trabalho tem como tema o Bitcoin, abordando como surgiu e como funciona. O trabalho, que tem como título: “Bitcoin: Uma Criptomoeda na Economia Capitalista” mostra-se relevante para o estudo das Ciências Econômicas, pois aborda um tema atual e que tem sido ponto central de discussões nos últimos anos. Dessa forma, o objetivo central do trabalho é analisar como o Bitcoin se encaixa em uma economia capitalista e os objetivos específicos são: apresentar a história da moeda; entender a importância da moeda e seu funcionamento dentro de uma economia capitalista; compreender como surgiram as criptomoedas; abordar como surgiu e se desenvolveu o Bitcoin e como ele funciona; analisar como o Bitcoin pode (ou não) se encaixar dentro de uma economia capitalista. O presente estudo é classificado como uma pesquisa básica, qualitativa, exploratória, descritiva e bibliográfica. A fundamentação teórica aborda os temas relacionados a moeda e ao seu funcionamento; relatando seu surgimento e evolução, falando sobre o sistema financeiro e suas instituições, abordando a política monetária e discorrendo sobre as criptomoedas: seu surgimento, características e funcionamento. O desenvolvimento da ênfase ao Bitcoin, explicando como surgiu essa criptomoeda e como ela funciona, além de relatar aspectos importantes sobre ela. Por fim, conclui-se como essa criptomoeda se encaixa um uma economia capitalista. | |
