| dc.description | Based on a phenomenological approach, this study aims at understanding the meaning women with breast cancer attribute to the experience of excision of the breast. The comprehensive analysis of the report of seven women, revealed that there is a lack of assistance, especially due to denial of information, clarification and guidance regarding the problem. The study indicates the need of an assistance that takes into consideration the physical, psychological and social aspects of the patients undergoing this process, as well as their involvement with the multidisciplinary medical team. | |
| dc.description | Com vistas a compreender o significado que a mulher com câncer de mama atribui ao vir-a-ser-mastectomizada, fundamentei-me na abordagem fenomenológica. A análise compreensiva dos depoimentos de sete mulheres, desvelou que a carência do cuidar se insere no mundo-vida dessas mulheres, sobressaindo principalmente a carência das informações negadas, ou seja, na falta de esclarecimento e orientação, O estudo aponta para o enfoque de um cuidado, que busque contemplar a integralidade da mulher, em seus aspectos físicos, como também em seus aspectos emocionais, sociais e sobretudo no envolvimento da equipe multidisciplinar. | |
