| dc.description | The greater access of people to the virtual world coupled with the possibility of wide dissemination of information by self-proclaimed reliable sources has been giving rise to the multiplication of damages, arising from the most diverse informational disorders, affecting both the individual sphere of the subjects, collectivities and society. The present article, after contextualizing this phenomenon, identifying the main factors that made possible the rise of pulverized narratives and their prevalence over the facts, dedicated to the main objective of analyzing the role of civil liability in coping with the referred damages, on a scale individual and above all social, as well as the limits of this institute and interdisciplinary solutions beyond it, in view of the necessary qualification and training of society to prevent and combat disinformation. | |
| dc.description | O maior acesso das pessoas ao mundo virtual somado à possibilidade de ampla disseminação de informações por fontes auto proclamadas confiáveis vem ensejando a multiplicação de danos, oriundos de desordens informacionais a mais diversas, a afetar tanto a esfera individual dos sujeitos quanto coletividades e a sociedade. O presente artigo, após contextualizar tal fenômeno, identificando os principais fatores que tornaram possível a ascensão de narrativas pulverizadas e a prevalência destas sobre os fatos, dedica-se ao precípuo objetivo de analisar o papel da responsabilidade civil no enfrentamento dos referidos danos, em escala individual e sobretudo social, bem como os limites deste instituto e soluções interdisciplinares para além dele, tendo em vista a necessária qualificação e capacitação da sociedade para prevenir e combater a desinformação. | |
