| dc.description | Este trabalho trata, a partir de pesquisa psicanalítica, da importância das funções
holding, rêverie e continente, necessárias para o desenvolvimento fisiológico, afetivo e
cognitivo do bebê e, posteriormente, do sujeito que vai se inserir na cultura. Analisa a
depressão de mulheres no pós-parto e as conseqüências desse fenômeno para os bebês,
demonstrando as dificuldades que a mãe deprimida terá para desempenhar o papel de mãe
suficientemente boa, conforme conceito de Winnicott. São examinadas a construção do desejo
da maternidade e a comunicação da díade desde o estágio pré-verbal da criança, bem como a
patologia de mães deprimidas e enlutadas. Os desarranjos da função materna no estágio
precoce do bebê – fase simbiótica – e possíveis modificações estruturais e funcionais em seu
self, assim como danos posteriores no seu psiquismo também são temas deste trabalho. Há
relato de dois casos clínicos de mães deprimidas e seus bebês e a conclusão de que,
atualmente, as mulheres enfrentam, cada vez mais, novos desafios que podem dificultar a
função da mãe suficientemente boa. Esse é mais um dos motivos pelos quais as mulheres
precisam do apoio familiar e de maior atenção dos médicos que a assistem e cuidam do bebê. | |
| dc.description | Based on psychoanalytical research, this paper deals with important functions
such as holding, rêverie and continent, indispensables to the physiological, emotional and
cognitive development and evolution of the baby and subsequently, the finished Individual, in
order to be assimilated into a certain culture. The problem of the mother’s depression after
childbirth is analysed as well as its consequences to the future of the babies. We bring to a
conclusion in showing the difficulties of the depressed mother to fulfill the role of a goodenough
mother, according to the ideas of Winnicott. The survey and the development of a
longing in the motherhood and the communication among the constituents of the dyad are
realized since an early pre-verbal stage of the child, as well as the patology and in mourning
state mothers. Disorders of the motherhood function at a precocious stage of the baby – the so
called symbiotic phase – and possible structural and functional alterations in his or her self,
with a later damage to the psychism are presented also as additional topics to the present
paper. Two clinical cases of depressed mothers and her babies are exposed. We come to the
conclusion that women face more and more new challenges, making difficult the function of
becoming a good-enough mother. The presented reasons become evident that women need an
intimate and familiar support with distinguished care and kindness on the part of the
physicians attending them and the babies. | |
