| dc.description | Os termos capital social e accountability são considerados variáveis potencializadoras da equação do desenvolvimento social e da prosperidade econômica regional. Isso porque facilitam ações coordenadas, promovendo e aumentando a eficiência da sociedade por meio de características, tais como a confiança, a cooperação e a participação, podendo se tornar facilitadoras do desenvolvimento econômico e social. Os objetivos deste estudo foram analisar a existência de capital social e do accountability em duas regiões cafeeiras distintas compreendidas pelos municípios de Três Pontas, que produz café convencional e pelo município de Poço Fundo, que produz café orgânico na região do Sul do estado de Minas Gerais. Especificamente procurou-se identificar, por meio dos indicadores de capital social e do accountability, a existência e a intensidade dessas variáveis, considerando-se uma abordagem metodológica orientada por diferentes métodos de pesquisa capazes de analisar a realidade social implícita nos dois municípios estudados. Como o estudo evidenciou-se que os cafeicultores da região de Três Pontas estavam associados às cooperativas da região para obterem benefícios de ordem pessoal, principalmente no que se refere a serviços de comercialização do seu produto. Nessa região foram identificadas redes de cafeicultores mais abertas e características de capital social institucional, que se referem à confiança dos cafeicultores nas organizações cooperativas, as quais facilitaram ações colaborativas para o desenvolvimento econômico e social da cafeicultura. No município de Poço Fundo foram encontradas formas de capital social como um recurso coletivo e redes mais densas e fechadas, nas quais a confiança por meio de condutas de cooperação e solidariedade permitiu aos cafeicultores orgânicos dessa região construírem uma associação e, posteriormente, uma cooperativa com princípios de gestão participativa dentro da filosofia do fair trade. Essa rede criada entre os cafeicultores garantiu-lhes empowerment (empoderamento) para atuarem num mercado extremamente competitivo. Quanto à existência do accountability, percebeu-se, no município de Poço Fundo, uma comunicação e uma participação dos cooperados por meios formais e informais as quais lhes garantiram a criação de mecanismos de accountability que permitiram maior cobrança e maior transparência da gestão da cooperativa. Na região de Três Pontas, ficou evidente que há necessidade de estimular a comunicação por meio de canais de comunicação entre os próprios cafeicultores e de motivá-los a participarem mais efetivamente da cooperativa. Por fim, infere-se que tanto o capital social como o accountability potencializaram o desenvolvimento social e a prosperidade econômica nas duas regiões estudadas, pois facilitaram ações coordenadas entre os cafeicultores para o desenvolvimento da cafeicultura regional. | |

This happens becouse makes easier the coordenation actions, inproving and incriazing the efficiency of the society by caracteristics, as sutch confidence, cooperation and participation, this way they can bee recognized as a help to make the social and economics development easyer. The objectives of this study were analyse the existence of a social capital and accountability in two different coffe regions around the city of Três Pontas, that products traditional kind and for the city of Poço Fundo, that products organic coffee on the south region of Minas Gerais state. Specifically this study intendent to identify, by use of social capital and accountability, mesure and identify this variables, considering a methodology aprouche gyed by differents methodologies of research capable of analyse the social reality on this two cities in matter. With this study we could see on the region of Três Pontas, witch the coffee-growers were conected with the cooperatives on the region then they could provide personal benefits, specialy when we talk about the marketing envolving their product. On this region were identify more open nets of the coffee-growers and caracteristics of institucional social capital, refering to the trust of the employesr on the cooperative, this way the team work made easier the improvement of the economic and the social resorces. On the city of Poço Fundo were found ways of social capital as a group resorce and neds more strong and close, witch the trust by cooperation and solidarity alouded the organic coffee-growers of this region billded and association, and after, a cooperative with the beginnings of working management inside the filosofy of the fair trade. This Ned criated by the coffe-growers secured them empowerment to act in a competitive market, witch were intimately conected at the economic and social transformation of the coffeegrowing on the region. As for the existence of the accountability, realized, on the city of de Poço Fundo, were realized the needzing of stimulatea comunication and participation of the employers by formal and unformal mins witch enshurenced them the criation of accountability mecanisms that alouded larger and bigger knot bettwen the worker on the cooperative. At last, was inferd that as such the social capital and the accountability are variables potencializes of the social development and the economics prosperity, because it makes easier the coordenations actions bettwen the coffee-growers of the both regions studied than can bee possible the develop the coffee culture on the region. | |
