Chemical composition, minerals, aminoacids, apparent digestibility of crude protein (ADCP), digestible protein (DP), digestible energy (DE) and metabolizable energy (ME) of 20 feedstuffs were determined in seven metabolism trials. A total of 162 crossbreeds (L × LW) barrows were used, 81 at 29.3 kg and 81 at 69.7 kg live weight. The animals were housed individually in metabolic cages. The digestibility of protein and energy values differed among feedstuffs, as well as from other feedstuffs tables. These data show that knowledge of the apparent digestibility of protein and digestible energy values of feedstuffs should make it possible to formulate swine diets more accurately.
