dc.descriptionEste trabalho objetivou avaliar a influência da escarificação mecânica e do tempo de embebição das sementes em água e água de coco na germinação de maracujazeiro (P. edulis f. flavicarpa Deg.), cultivar “IAC 275”. Foi utilizado o delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados, com dez tratamentos e quatro repetições de 50 sementes por parcela. Utilizaram-se os seguintes tratamentos: Semente sem embebição líquida e sem escarificação mecânica (T1); semente sem embebição líquida e com escarificação mecânica (T2); semente embebida em água destilada por 12 horas, sem escarificação mecânica (T3); semente embebida em água destilada por 12 horas, com escarificação mecânica (T4); semente embebida em água destilada por 24 horas, sem escarificação mecânica (T5); semente embebida em água destilada por 24 horas, com escarificação mecânica (T6); semente embebida em água de coco por 12 horas, sem escarificação mecânica (T7); semente embebida em água de coco por 12 horas, com escarificação mecânica (T8); semente embebida em água de coco por 24 horas sem escarificação mecânica (T9); e Semente embebida em água de coco por 24 horas, com escarificação mecânica (TIO). Aos 28 dias, avaliaram-se: porcentagem de germinação, índice de velocidade de emergência, comprimento total das plântulas, altura das plântulas, comprimento de radícula das plântulas e massa da matéria seca total das plântulas. Conclui-se que sementes escarificadas e não escarificadas, embebidas em água por 12 e 24 horas, respectivamente, apresentaram as maiores porcentagens de germinação e vigor. A embebição das sementes não escarificadas em água de coco influenciou negativamente na germinação de sementes de maracujazeiro.
dc.descriptionThe aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of mechanic scariflcation and water and coconut water ímbibition time of seeds on the germination of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa Deg.), cv. “IAC 275". The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design, with ten treatments and four replications of fifty seeds per plot. The following treatments were used: seed without imbibition and scarifieation (T1);seed without imbibition and with scarification (T2); seed soaked in water distilled for 12 hours without scarilication (T3);seed soaked in water distilled for 12 hours with scarifieation (T4); seed soaked in water distilled by 24 hours withont scarítication (T5); seed soaked in water distilled for 24 hours with scarification (T6); seed soaked in coconut water for 12 hours without scarification (T7); seed soaked in coconut water for 12 hours with scaritication (T8); seed sonked in coconut water for 24 hours without scarification (T9); seed soaked in coconut water by 24 hours with scarifioation (TIO). After 28 days, the following characteristics were evaluated: germination percentage; emergence speed; tom] piantlet length; plantlet height; radicule length and plantlet total dry matter. The results showed that seeds sonked in water, with and without scarification, for 12 and 24 hours, respectively, presented the best germination and vigor percentages. Seeds soaked in coconut water, without scarification, had a negative influence on the germination of passion fruit seeds.
