| dc.description | Neste trabalho abordamos algumas interações entre a Álgebra e a Geometria, a partir da ampliação do conhecimento histórico do desenvolvimento da Geometria Analítica e suas aplicações, bem como do estudo do tema simetria. Analisamos alguns livros didáticos para perceber como esses temas são abordados no Ensino Fundamental e Médio. Desenvolvemos um estudo dos grupos de simetria de figuras geométricas no plano e no espaço, bem como dos grupos de friso e de grupos cristalográficos. Propomos um material para o ensino de simetria, com desenvolvimento gradual, desde o 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental até o 3º ano do Ensino Médio. | |
| dc.description | In this work we discuss some interactions between Algebra and Geometry, from the bro- adening of the knowledge of the historical development of Analytical Geometry and its applications, as well as the study of symmetry. We evaluate some textbooks to understand how these topics are approached in Elementary and High School. We also develop a study of the groups of symmetry of geometric figures in the plane and in space, as well as groups of frieze and crystallographic groups. We propose a material for the teaching of symmetry, with a gradual development, from the sixth year of the Elementary School to the third o year of the High School. | |
