| dc.description | O artigo trata de uma reflexão sobre o corpo envelhecido e os preconceitos etários e de gênero, bem como sobre as formas de se vencer os preconceitos, a partir do filme As Garotas do
Calendário. Apesar das conquistas advindas do movimento feminista, ainda vivemos em uma sociedade bastante preconceituosa em relação ao feminino, principalmente quando se trata do corpo envelhecido, por não corresponder ao modelo hegemônico de beleza calcado na juventude. Baseado em fatos reais, o filme mostra que é possível vencer os preconceitos ainda vigentes acerca da mulher e do envelhecimento. As análises realizadas neste trabalho articulam as cenas e os discursos presentes no filme a referenciais teóricos sobre corpo e gênero. | |
| dc.description | The article deals with a reflection on the surrounding body and the gender and gender biases, as well as on how to sell prejudices, from the movie Calendar Girls. Despite the many
achievements of the feminist struggle, we still live in a society that is quite prejudiced in relation to the feminine, especially when it comes to the body, because it does not correspond to the hegemonic model of beauty traced in youth. Based on real facts, the film shows that it is possible to overcome the prevailing prejudices about women and aging. As analyzes they articulate as scenes and the present discourses without film to the theoretical references on the body and the genre. | |
