| dc.description | This book is made with the purpose of exposing the scientific community and the
general public, that it is possible to achieve an automated orientation of students
with a purely formative purpose and self-introspection by each participant.
It is not the intention of this document to present a controversy on the way of evaluating,
nor about how educational policies should be carried out, this work only shows
a very valuable exercise carried out at the national level in Venezuela, and which produced an element
very powerful: massively guide aspiring students to enter an institution
higher level education.
Unfortunately, this work presented a political misrepresentation in Venezuela,
because it was believed that they wanted to "psychologically evaluate" the applicants, a situation that
obviously it is not possible through a psychometric assessment instrument, nor
through a skills test. Likewise, it was thought that this work would impact the supply
university at the national level, a situation for which he was disqualified by other institutions
of the Venezuelan academy That is why the authors want to make it very clear that this book ‒as well as the articles
derived from said work‒, has been (and always was) a work of excellence
academic-investigative, in order to demonstrate that it is possible to massively orient
aptitude-vocational way (through the strength of character) to an aspirant who wishes
study at an institution of higher education in any region of any country. Of
fact, now with the evolution of Big Data, and artificial intelligence, we believe that said
work becomes even more relevant within the automated orientation process, since it is
has access to various information online, a situation that did not exist in the past decade.
Finally, the authors emphasize that an automated orientation will never be
enough to achieve a complete educational orientation, but it will be a very
valued, especially in those rural locations with difficult access and educational services
limited. | |
| dc.description | El presente libro se realiza con la finalidad de exponer a la comunidad científica y al
público en general, que es posible lograr una orientación automatizada de estudiantes
con una finalidad netamente formativa y de autointrospección por parte de cada participante.
No es la intención de este documento presentar una polémica sobre la forma de evaluar,
ni tampoco sobre cómo deben realizarse las políticas educativas, este trabajo solo muestra
un ejercicio muy valioso realizado a nivel nacional en Venezuela, y que arrojó un elemento
muy poderoso: orientar masivamente a estudiantes aspirantes a ingresar a una institución
educacional de nivel superior.
Lamentablemente, este trabajo presentó una tergiversación política en Venezuela,
pues se creyó que se quería “evaluar psicológicamente” a los aspirantes, situación que
obviamente no es posible a través de un instrumento de valoración psicométrico, ni a
través de un test de habilidades. Así mismo, se pensó que este trabajo impactaría la oferta
universitaria a nivel nacional, situación por la cual fue descalificado por otras instituciones
de la academia venezolana Es por ello que los autores quieren dejar muy claro que este libro ‒así como los artículos
científicos derivados de dicho trabajo‒, ha sido (y siempre fue) un trabajo de excelencia
académica-investigativa, a fin de evidenciar que sí es posible orientar masivamente de
forma aptitudinal-vocacional (mediante la fortaleza del carácter) a un aspirante que desee
estudiar en una institución de educación superior en cualquier región de cualquier país. De
hecho, ahora con la evolución del Big Data, y la inteligencia artificial, creemos que dicho
trabajo toma aún más vigencia dentro del proceso de orientación automatizada, ya que se
tiene acceso a diversa información en línea, situación que no existía en la década pasada.
Finalmente, los autores resaltamos que una orientación automatizada nunca será
suficiente para lograr una completa orientación educativa, pero sí será un inicio muy
valorado, en espmeraecial en aquellas localidades rurales de difícil acceso y servicios educativos
limitados. | |
