| dc.description | The book Education and accounting research in Colombia: a holistic view of the
Disciplines is the continuation of the book Accounting Education in Colombia, published in 2019
by UNAULA Editions of Medellin. We continue with the aim of contributing to the improvement
of the training of public accountants, for this reason complementary topics are incorporated
training and accounting research.
The text offers bibliographic reviews of accounting research, management, economics,
finances, flexible component and teaching styles, all from the perspective of training
and the contributions that the various curricular areas can make. On the other hand, it
include two articles related to research and gender, specifically from
the study of women and their role in accounting research and in academic processes,
current theme that reveals the need to investigate areas that the country has not yet explored.
Finally, it is important to mention that this book was produced in conjunction
with students in order to promote formative research, they participated as
co-investigators and are members of the Seedbed for Research in Education and Theory
Accountant (Sinetco) of the Santo Tomás University, additionally, three groups were linked
of research in the edition and authorship of the chapters, all with the aim of promoting the
collective construction of knowledge. | |
| dc.description | El libro Educación e investigación contable en Colombia: una mirada holística de las
disciplinas es la continuación del libro Educación contable en Colombia, editado en el 2019
por Ediciones UNAULA de Medellín. Continuamos con la pretensión de aportar en la mejora
de la formación de los contadores públicos, por ello se incorporan temas complementarios
a la formación y a la investigación contable.
El texto ofrece, revisiones bibliográficas de investigación contable, gestión, economía,
finanzas, componente flexible y estilos docentes, todo desde la perspectiva de la formación
profesional y los aportes que pueden hacer las diversas áreas curriculares. Por otra parte, se
incluyen dos artículos relacionados con la investigación y el género, específicamente desde
el estudio de la mujer y su papel en la investigación contable y en los procesos académicos,
temática vigente que devela la necesidad de investigar áreas que en el país aún no explora.
Por último, es importante mencionar que el presente libro se realizó en articulación
con estudiantes con el fin de impulsar la investigación formativa, ellos participaron como
coinvestigadores y son miembros del Semillero de Investigación en Educación y Teoría
Contable (Sinetco) de la Universidad Santo Tomás, adicionalmente, se vincularon tres grupos
de investigación en la edición y autoría de los capítulos, todo con el afán de fomentar la
construcción colectiva del conocimiento. | |
