| dc.description | The present work was carried out with the students and the Geography teacher of the 2nd year high school classes in the afternoon period of the State School Professor Ant?nio Pinto de Medeiros, located in the district of Pitimbu in the municipality of Natal/RN. Considering the aspects of teaching learning in Geography, the general objective of this work is to analyze how the teacher seeks to establish connections between the curricular contents and the aspects experienced by his or her student body taking as evidenced the relations established with the place in which they live. In addition, we try to understand if it characterizes the methodologies used by the said teacher during the approach of the didactic contents, as well as the reflexes of that process with respect to the usefulness of the learning obtained by the students in their day to day. In order to reach such objectives, in addition to bibliographical research in books, dissertations and theses, the analysis of data collected from observations assessed in the classes was carried out, as well as the information obtained from the questionnaires applied to both the students and the teacher of Geography. The results show that the teacher uses several mechanisms to try to dynamize and seek greater participation of students in the subjects worked in the classroom. For this, the constant use of varied didactic resources allows the student to have a diversity of techniques that stimulate the interest in apprehending the subjects treated. Another important point was the teacher's attitude in always seeking to relate the subjects of Geography with elements experienced by his students in his daily life. This practice was verified and exemplified by the students themselves, since at different times they came to question examples of how the teacher uses these teaching practices. | |
| dc.description | O presente trabalho foi realizado com os alunos e o professor de Geografia das turmas do 2? ano do ensino m?dio no per?odo vespertino da Escola Estadual Professor Ant?nio Pinto de Medeiros que fica localizada no bairro Pitimbu no munic?pio de Natal/RN. Considerando os aspectos do ensino aprendizagem em Geografia, o objetivo geral deste trabalho ? analisar como o professor procura estabelecer conex?es entre os conte?dos curriculares e os aspectos vivenciados por seu corpo discente tomando como evidencia as rela??es estabelecidas com o lugar em que vivem. Essa perspectiva surgiu da problem?tica de procurar evidenciar se o ensino de Geografia realizado nas turmas observadas apresenta articula??es com os assuntos trabalhados no ensino dessa disciplina com o cotidiano vivenciado pelos alunos. Para tanto procuramos compreender como se caracteriza as metodologias utilizadas pelo o referido professor durante a abordagem dos conte?dos did?ticos, como tamb?m os reflexos desse processo no que diz respeito a utilidade da aprendizagem obtida pelos alunos no seu dia a dia. Para atingir tais objetivos, al?m de pesquisa bibliogr?ficos em livros, disserta??es e teses, foi realizado um estudo de caso nas turmas anteriormente citadas, onde podemos coletar e analisar dados a partir de observa??es aferidas nas turmas, como tamb?m exploramos as informa??es obtidas a partir dos question?rios aplicados tanto aos alunos como ao professor de Geografia. Os resultados nos evidenciam que o referido docente se utiliza de v?rios mecanismos para tentar dinamizar e procurar maior participa??o dos alunos nos assuntos trabalhados em sala de aula. Para tanto, o uso constante de variados recursos did?ticos permite que o aluno tenha uma diversidade de t?cnicas que estimulam o interesse em apreender os assuntos tratados. Outro ponto bastante importante foi a atitude do professor em sempre procurar relacionar os assuntos da Geografia com elementos vivenciados por seus alunos em seu cotidiano. Essa pratica foi constatada e exemplifica pelos pr?prios alunos, uma vez que, em diversos momentos vieram a interpelar exemplos de como o professor utiliza-se dessas pr?ticas de ensino. | |
