dc.description | The present study had as objective to analyze the relationship between gross
remuneration, time of service in years and the titration of the teachers of the
campuses Natal-Central and Mossor? of the Federal Institute of Education, Science
and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte - IFRN. The research is classified as
descriptive and case study. Data for 417 teachers were collected through the Lattes
Platform and the Transparency Portal of the Federal Government in the year 2015.
The results found in this study showed that the time of service has little influence on
teachers' compensation. On the contrary, titling has an important impact on teacher
remuneration. This leads us to suppose that, in search of better salaries, teachers
should try to qualify better through masters and doctoral degrees. Whereas, it was
verified that the highest proportion of teachers is in the master and doctoral degrees,
48.8% and 30.2%, respectively. It was also observed that the work regime factor has
an important impact on teacher remuneration. This presupposes a positive point for
both teachers and the IFRN, since the majority of teachers, 82.5%, work in a 40-hour
regime with exclusive dedication. Such a regime, according to research, is the most
appropriate for the development of teaching activities, as well as guarantees a
greater commitment on the part of teachers with the teaching institution to which it is
linked. | |
dc.description | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar a rela??o entre remunera??o bruta,
tempo de servi?o em anos e a titula??o dos docentes dos campi Natal-Central e
Mossor? do Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do
Norte (IFRN). A pesquisa classifica-se como descritiva e estudo de caso. Os dados
referentes a 417 professores foram coletados por meio da Plataforma Lattes e do
Portal da Transpar?ncia do Governo Federal, no ano de 2015. Os resultados
encontrados neste estudo evidenciaram que o tempo de servi?o pouco influencia na
remunera??o dos professores. Ao contr?rio, a titula??o tem importante impacto na
remunera??o docente. Isso faz supor que, em busca de melhores sal?rios os
professores procurem se qualificar melhor por meio das titula??es de mestrado e
doutorado. Visto que, foi verificado que a maior propor??o de professores se
encontra nas titula??es de mestre e doutor, 48,8% e 30,2%, respectivamente.
Observou-se, tamb?m, que o fator regime de trabalho tem importante impacto na
remunera??o docente. Isso pressup?e um ponto positivo, tanto para os docentes
quanto para o IFRN, visto que, a maioria dos professores, 82,5%, trabalha em
regime de 40 horas com dedica??o exclusiva. Tal regime, de acordo com as
pesquisas, ? o mais indicado para o desenvolvimento das atividades docentes, bem
como garante um maior compromisso por parte dos professores com a institui??o de
ensino a qual est? vinculado. | |
