| dc.description | Analyse the costumes worn by the deity Obaluaiyê in the Rituals of the Candomblé of Yoruba tradition or Ketu Candomblé. I propose a semiological regard on the costumes worn in Candomblé, through a reading of the signs and symbols that are presents in this deity and are conveyed by him. There is a reflection about the establishment of the Ketu Candomblé in the States of Bahia and Rio de Janeiro at the end of the nineteenth century and its development through the twentieth century. There is also an affirmation of an identity and of ideological and socialcultural Afro-Brazilian distinctive properties, which are established through an outlook on the foundations and the carpentry of the cults and that shape in themselves the possibilities of symbolic investiments. | |
| dc.description | Análise da indumentária do Orixá OBALUAYÊ, nos rituais de Candomblé de tradição Nagô ou Candomblé de Ketu. Proponho um olhar semiológico sobre a vestimenta no Candomblé, através de uma leitura dos signos e símbolos presentes e veiculados por este orixá. Há ainda uma reflexão em torno do estabelecimento do Candomblé de Ketu na Bahia e no Rio de Janeiro no final do séc. XIX e seu desenvolvimento ao longo do séc. XX. Há a afirmação de uma identidade e de uma afro-brasilidade ideológica e sócio-cultural que se estabelece a partir do olhar sobre as fundações e a carpintaria dos cultos e que configura em si as possibilidades de investimentos simbólicos. | |
