| dc.description | A Educação Ambiental vem se tornando cada vez mais urgente para a sociedade atual, pois o futuro da humanidade depende da relação estabelecida entre a natureza e o ser humano pelo uso dos recursos naturais disponíveis. A Educação Ambiental é uma das mais importantes exigências educacionais para formar o ser humano harmonizado com a natureza. O projeto aqui apresentado foi realizado em Araruama, Estado do Rio de Janeiro, na Escola Municipal Dr. João Vasconcellos com alunos do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental entre os meses de maio a setembro de 2014. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar de que forma a Horta Escolar pode colaborar com a Educação Ambiental na escola e no cotidiano do aluno. Foi realizada uma pesquisa-ação com abordagem qualitativa e a coleta de dados ocorreu através de 2 questionários (pré-teste e pós-teste) abertos onde os alunos puderam escrever livremente sobre os temas envolvidos. Após o desenvolvimento da pesquisa ficou evidente que a Horta Escolar colaborou para Educação Ambiental, pois possibilitou uma reflexão da relação do ser humano com o meio ambiente e com suas implicações. Criou novas atitudes e práticas que ultrapassaram os muros escolares ampliando os conhecimentos e inserindo novos hábitos comportamentais e alimentares nos alunos, seus familiares e alguns membros da comunidade contribuindo para reconstrução de valores mais humanizados. | |
| dc.description | The Environmental Education has become increasingly urgent for the current society The future of humanity depends on the relation between nature and human beings through the use of natural sources available. The Environmental Education is one of the most important requirements to form the human being harmonized with nature. The project here presented was done in the county of Araruama, Rio de Janeiro State, with the fifth grade students of Dr. Joao Vasconcelos school between the months of May and September of 2014. The purpose of this research was to analyze the way in which a School Garden can contribute with the Environmental Education
in the school and everyday life of the students. An action research with qualitative approach and data collection were done through two open questionnaires (pretest and posttest) where students were able to write freely about the themes involved. After the development of the research it became clear that the school contributed to the Environmental Education, because it allowed an understanding between the relation of human beings and environment and their implications. This research created new attitudes and practices that went beyond the school walls extending knowledge and entering new behavioral and eating habits in students, their families and some community members contributing to the reconstruction of more humane values. | |
