| dc.description | As leishmanioses são doenças infecciosas que acometem humanos e outros vertebrados, causadas por várias espécies de protozoários do gênero Leishmania (ordem Kinetoplastidae, família Trypanosomatidae) e transmitidas por mosquitos da subfamília Phlebotominae. Apresentam diferentes formas clínicas, dependendo da espécie envolvida e da relação do parasita com seu hospedeiro. De acordo com a política de Saúde vigente em nosso País, o Controle das Leishmanioses estão entre as ações a serem desenvolvidas pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). A execução dessas ações eram inicialmente de responsabilidade do Governo Federal, através da Fundação Nacional de Saúde (FUNASA), mas com o processo de descentralização das endemias, as ações passaram a ser de responsabilidade das Secretarias Estaduais e Municipais de Saúde, no qual muitos municípios não conseguiram se estruturar para executar as ações inerentes as endemias. Diante disso, o presente trabalho objetiva apresentar um projeto de intervenção sobre a reestruturação do Programa de Controle da Leishmaniose no município de Caruaru, no que diz respeito ao seu componente vetorial. O Projeto tentará reestruturar o programa, bem como, promover capacitação dos agentes de campo e do laboratório de entomologia do município, buscando parcerias com a Secretaria Estadual através da IV Regional de Saúde e com a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde. Apresenta intuito de adquirir equipamentos e insumos necessários para a reestruturação das atividades entomológicas no município, uma vez que, as ações do Programa de Controle da Leishmaniose estão limitadas ao inquérito sorológico canino e ao controle químico. | dc.description | The leishmaniases are infectious diseases that affect humans and other vertebrates, caused by several species of protozoa of the genus Leishmania (Kinetoplastidae order, family Trypanosomatidae) and transmitted by mosquito subfamily Phlebotominae. Present different clinical forms, depending on the species involved and the relationship of the parasite and its host. According to current health policy in our country, the Control of Leishmaniasis are among the actions to be taken by the Unified Health System (SUS). Performing these actions were initially the responsibility of the Federal Government, through the National Health Foundation (FUNASA), but with the process of decentralization of endemics, the shares have been the responsibility of State and Municipal Health, in which many municipalities could not be structured to perform the actions inherent in the endemics. Therefore, this study presents an intervention project on the restructuring of Leishmaniasis Control Programme in Caruaru, with respect to its vector component. The project will attempt to restructure the program, as well as, promote training of field agents and the entomology laboratory of the municipality, seeking partnerships with the State Department through the IV Regional Health and the Municipal Health Presents order to purchase equipment and inputs needed for the restructuring of entomological activities in the city, since the actions of Leishmaniasis Control Program are limited to canine serosurvey and chemical control. After the restructuring program, the intervention project includes monitoring and continued qualification of the actors involved in entomological activities, but also the knowledge of vector biology transmitter leishmaniasis, besides the possibility of implementation of methodologies that can contribute to raising quantitative and qualitative information about the sand flies in the municipality. | |
