dc.descriptionTele-nursing is currently considered as a strategy to provide timely follow-up to patients in the continuity of care. In this sense, it is necessary to reveal significant data about the knowledge that nursing personnel have on this topic, and the use of technological tools in tele-nursing, hence the objective of the article is to determine the knowledge and use of tools Technological techniques in tele-nursing at the “José Carrasco Arteaga” Hospital. A descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental research was carried out during the months of January to May 2021. A survey was applied to 119 representatives of the nursing staff. It was found that 52.1% of those surveyed know the term tele-nursing, 56.3% stated that they use the cell phone in order to provide continuity of care at home and 73.1% considered that the implementation of tele-nursing would be feasible, even when 58.1% stated that distance care would depersonalize nursing care. Even though the level of knowledge and use of technological tools in tele-nursing is low, the nursing staff surveyed has a positive perception, hence their interest in training.en-US
dc.descriptionLa teleenfermería en la actualidad se considera como una estrategia para brindar un seguimiento oportuno a los pacientes en la continuidad del cuidado. En este sentido, se requiere develar datos significativos a cerca del conocimiento que tiene el personal de enfermería sobre este tema, y la utilización de las herramientas tecnológicas en tele-enfermería, de ahí que el objetivo del artículo es determinar el conocimiento y utilización de herramientas tecnológicas en teleenfermería en el Hospital “José Carrasco Arteaga”. Se realizó una investigación descriptiva, cuantitativa, de corte transversal, no experimental, durante los meses de enero a mayo de 2021. Se aplicó una encuesta a 119 representantes del personal de enfermería. Se pudo constatar que el 52.1 % de los encuestados conoce el término teleenfermería, el 56.3 % manifestó utilizar el teléfono celular con el fin de dar continuidad de cuidados en el hogar y el 73.1 % consideró que sería viable la implementación de la teleenfermería, aun cuando el 58.1 % manifestó que los cuidados a distancia despersonalizarían la atención de enfermería. Aun cuando el nivel de conocimiento y utilización de las herramientas tecnológicas en teleenfermería es bajo, el personal de enfermería encuestado posee una percepción positiva, por ello el interés en cuanto a la capacitación.es-ES
