| dc.description | <p>En esta investigación se analiza un Estudio de Caso sobre los componentes de gestión de información en Empresas Públicas de Medellín — EPM, considerando datos y documentos, a partir de una mirada articuladora de ambos segmentos de información. El primer objetivo se enfocó en diagnosticar el nivel de madurez de la gestión de información al interior de EPM. Para, posteriormente, en el segundo objetivo, identificar los desafíos y oportunidades de la organización respecto a la integralidad en la gestión articulada de los documentos y los datos. Y, finalmente, en el tercer objetivo, diseñar una propuesta para la gestión integral de información, que responda a las exigencias normativas y, a las necesidades informacionales y de gobierno de los activos de información de la institución y de sus grupos de interés. El diseño metodológico es de corte cualitativo y consiste en conocer y describir las principales características, relaciones y actores del caso de estudio al interior de la empresa; todo esto a través de las técnicas de observación y entrevistas semiestructuradas.</p> | |
| dc.description | This research analyzes a Case Study on the components of information management in Empresas Públicas de Medellín – EPM, considering data and documents, from an articulating perspective of both information segments. The first objective focused on diagnosing the level of maturity of information management within EPM. To, later, in the second objective, identify the challenges and opportunities of the organization regarding the integrality in the articulated management of documents and data. And, finally, in the third objective, to design a proposal for the comprehensive management of information, which responds to regulatory requirements and to the informational and governance needs of the information assets of the institution and its stakeholders. The methodological design is qualitative in nature and consists of knowing and describing the main characteristics, relationships, and actors of the case study within the company; all this through observation techniques and semi-structured interviews. | |
