| dc.description | <p>Esta monografía toma como base principal la problemática que tenemos hoy día al ser una sociedad de información, que debido al uso de internet y al acceso de tecnologías que cada día llegan a más usuarios en todo el mundo, se generan grandes cantidades de contenido en las redes, debido a esto las organizaciones tienen una gran necesidad hacer gestión de datos, con el fin de explotarlos y procesarlos de esta forma convertirlos en información, que al ser analizada se convierta en input para la toma de decisiones siendo así un factor diferenciador y potencial que les permita mantenerse posicionadas en un entorno competitivo, por lo anterior, esta monografía de grado pretende analizar el gobierno de la información en Kent Energy S.A.S., una empresa dedicada a prestar servicios de ingeniería al sector de Petróleo y Gas, para ello se toman como referentes principales el Data Management Association-DAMA International, en cuanto a gobierno de la información, el ICA y Jordi Serra Serra en lo referente a la gestión del documento electrónico. El enfoque de este trabajo de investigación es cualitativo, el tipo de Investigación es analítica-descriptiva, el método aplicado es un estudio de caso. Se espera diagnosticar el gobierno de información, caracterizar los modelos existentes en cuanto a este tema y, por último, generar una propuesta de gobierno de la información que corrija las malas prácticas identificadas en el diagnóstico y facilitar la gestión de información en la organización.</p> | |
| dc.description | This monograph takes as its main basis the problems we have today as an information society, that due to the use of internet and access to technologies that every day reach more users around the world, large amounts of content are generated in the networks, because of this organizations have a great need for data management, in order to exploit and process them, thus turning them into information, which when analyzed becomes input for decision making, This is a differentiating and potential factor that allows them to remain positioned in a competitive environment, therefore this monograph to analyze the governance of information in Kent Energy S.A.S., a company dedicated to providing engineering services to the Oil and Gas sector, for it are taken as main references the DATA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION-DAMA International, in terms of information governance, the ICA and Jordi Serra Serra in relation to the management of electronic document. The focus of this investigation work is qualitative, the type of investigation is analytical-descriptive, the applied method is a case study. It is expected to diagnose information governance, characterize the existing models on this subject and finally generate a proposal for information governance to correct the bad practices identified in the diagnosis and facilitate information management in the organization. | |
