| dc.description | <p>Desde la década de 1960 la educación sexual ha venido tomando fuerza en la sociedad colombiana, desarrollándose en varias políticas, debates y problematizaciones, actualmente sigue siendo un olvido estatal e institucional. En algunas poblaciones se ha retomado el tema, en esta oportunidad destacamos las iniciativas educativas de algunas familias dispuestas a difundir conocimientos en jóvenes con Síndrome de Down (SD), retomando experiencias y saberes desde las madres integrantes de la “Organización ASDOWN”, con ello articular la sexualidad como un derecho. La presente investigación busca comprender el sentido, alcance y limitación del marco normativo sobre el derecho al desarrollo sexual en los jóvenes, entendiendo los vacíos en el ámbito familiar, educativo y de salud. La información se recolectó y sistematizo por medio de entrevistas y matrices documentales. Como resultados se obtuvieron irregularidades en el trato hacia los jóvenes por parte de los educadores y personal de salud, insuficiente difusión de la información y herramientas en pro de prevención y promoción en sexualidad y vacíos legales por ausencia de leyes, decretos y programas educativos.</p> | |
| dc.description | Since the 1960s, sexual education has been gaining strength in Colombian society, developing in various policies, debates and problematizations, currently it continues to be a state and institutional oblivion. In some towns the topic has been resumed, this time we highlight the educational initiatives of some families willing to disseminate knowledge among young people with Down Syndrome (DS), resuming experiences and knowledge from the mothers who are members of the “ASDOWN Organization”, with this articulate sexuality as a right. This research seeks to understand the meaning, scope and limitation of the regulatory framework on the right to sexual development in young people, understanding the gaps in the family, educational and health spheres. The information was collected and systematized through interviews and documentary matrices. As results, irregularities were obtained in the treatment of young people by educators and health personnel, insufficient dissemination of information and tools in favor of prevention and promotion of sexuality, and legal gaps due to the absence of laws, decrees, and educational programs. | |
