Rayuela has different prisms that can be synthesized in two fundamental levels of study, the metaphysical metaphorical and the discursive psychological. In this work we propose to analyze the role of the feminine in Rayuela from this point of view, focusing on key points: the surrealist gaze that fosters the poetic union of Paris and women and that leads us to the flaneur-persecutor in Cortázar; woman as intercessory entity, as text or palimpsest, a code to be deciphered; and the woman as access to the absolute, to the sacred time or to the symbolic cons-tellation.
